Yeah, that new combat system is definitely different, that's for sure. Not sure how I feel about it yet but we haven't exactly seen it in action either. But I suppose build crafting gets a lot easier with only 5 skills to worry about. Although the other 5 are determined by weapon, so that will play into it as well.

I really wish they would have eliminated the limited skill set period. Sounds like skilling up is going to be a challenge until you get used to weapon and racial sets, then solo versus duo/team builds. Hello learning curve, my old friend.

Well of course it's going to be a challenge. What the point of playing if there isn't a challenge? People will get used to it soon enough, but hopefully it doesn't turn into a sort of click in my sleep kind of game like it is now.

As far as this whole system goes, I find it exciting. The skill system combined with the combat system they wrote about earlier, I am really liking what I see, and can see how weapon swapping and the related skill swapping goes hand in hand. I think it will end up being more dynamic and exciting than the current stand there and take/give a beating play style.

Have I told you recently what an outstanding job you guys do as our Guild Leaders? Out-standing. Awesome. And the work on TEG forums? Holy man, you friggin rock my world! I wouldn't want to do the myriad stuff you do here (mostly cause I used to, but I digress) and still stay cheery and willing to help guildies thru end game missions from hell/in hell/going to hell. Case in point, last night, there we were in a mission in hell going to hell in a handcart and still you continued to multitask to get this forum running while hexing the bad guys and cursing Uchi. Or was that hexing Uchi and cursing the forum? Maybe both. Again, I digress. All this, and still we finished the friggin game, got our greens and extra heroes and here you are this morning fresh as a daisy and hard at work on the forums again. Out-standing!

So, far, i have seen all the promotional videos and teasers for Guild Wars 2....and man are they good with teasing the fans. After watching the new vids on Ranger Skills and reading the short article on Ranger gameplay, i definitely will be making my first GW2 toon a Ranger....can't wait for that game to come out

I think I will go Ranger in GW II as well. Either that or back to a healer since I was so good with Engel. With WoW butchering my hunter and them making the game mistakes Guild Wars made trying to uniform PvP and PvE with the new expansion, I think my time there is done.

Well I am still firmly on the GW2 bandwagon although lots of my Warhammer and Aion guildys are being distracted by the "oooh shiny" beta videos from the new Star Wars MMO. Still too early for me to pick a class... War/Ele/Ranger all look nice but I am waiting for A.net to pull some of the weirdos out of the shed.

I'm not at all surprised you are sick of WoW by now Engel, the obsession with Gear Scores and DPS meters really sapped the life out of it for me a year ago. As for playing a healer in GW2 Engel, I'm not sure the game will have any...
